Some school boards have opted to cancel school buses Tuesday because of slippery driving conditions.
A winter storm is bringing a mix of snow and rain, including freezing rain, to southern Ontario.
Here is a list of school bus cancellations (all schools are open, unless noted below):
- All buses in Simcoe County
- All buses to public and Catholic schools in North Wellington (pink card); Centre Peel, Kenilworth and Maryborough public schools are closed.
- All buses to public and Catholic schools in Dufferin County (green card); East Garafraxa Public School, Laurelwoods Elementary School and Primrose Public School are closed.
- Country Day school route CD05.
- All rural buses to Owen Sound schools, including Route 800. Buses will do in-city pickups only.
- All buses to Dundalk, Flesherton, Markdale and Maxwell.
- All buses into Lion’s Head and Tobermory.
- All buses for Meaford and Thornbury.
- Routes 868 and 869 from Port Elgin and Southampton into Owen Sound are cancelled.
- Pretty River Academy in Collingwood is closed.
- True North Academy in Wasaga Beach is closed.
- Stepping Stones Nursery School in Barrie closed.
- Bouncing Ball Nursery School in Stroud is closed.
