Toronto police say a second man has been charged with attempted murder after a shooting in the city’s east end last month.

According to police, officers were called to the area of Dundas Street East and Greenwood Avenue at around 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 19 for a reported shooting.

Police say a dispute broke out between two men inside a home in the neighbourhood and a 48-year-old man was shot.

The victim was rushed to hospital but his injuries were not life-threatening.

One suspect, Tajuddin Shahabuddin, 24, of Toronto was arrested shortly after the shooting and is facing several charges including attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of a prohibited weapon.

On Sunday, a second man was arrested in connection with the shooting.

Joseph Boudreault, 37, is facing five charges including attempted murder, possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm, conspiracy to commit murder, unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized.

Police are also searching for a third man wanted in connection with the case. He is described as about 30 years old and is approximately six-foot-three with an olive complexion. Police say the man is considered armed and dangerous.
