Toronto police have arrested a woman wanted on a Canada-wide warrant on charges related to the brutal killing of a 24-year-old Toronto man.

George Fawell’s body was found on railroad tracks near Queen Street East and Broadview Avenue on Aug. 24, 2012. At the time, police said Fawell died of multiple stab wounds and said his injuries indicated a high level of aggression was a factor in his killing.

Investigators released security camera images of the wanted woman last week in the hopes that someone might have information about her whereabouts.

Ashley Andrews, 28, of Toronto was arrested May 2. She is facing numerous charges, including accessory after the fact to murder, two counts of obstructing justice, failing to comply with probation, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of cocaine and marijuana.

She is the second person charged in connection with Fawell’s death.

Police arrested Lori Ann Crook, 39, of Toronto on April 4. She has been charged with first-degree murder and forcible confinement.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-7400 or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
