GO train service was disrupted on the Kitchener Line Monday evening after a person was fatally struck.
The Union 18:50 - Georgetown 19:54 train was holding east of Bloor Station for several hours after the male was struck near Dundas Street West and Sterling Road at around 7 p.m.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, Toronto EMS said.
Police continue to investigate at the scene.
Regular service is expected to resume on the line Tuesday morning.
