TORONTO - Six people are facing charges in connection with an investigation into a robbery and assault in Toronto's northeast end and police are seeking more suspects.

Police say the incident happened Tuesday night when two men were attacked by a group of eight other men (in the area of Birchmount Road and Sheppard Avenue East).

It's alleged the two victims were beaten, shot with pellet guns and stabbed.

Police say six people were arrested during raids on Thursday -- four for the original assault and two on unrelated drug charges.

Azizullah Hadi, 18, of Toronto, and three 16-year-old boys who cannot be identified under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act all face multiple charges including two counts each of aggravated assault, robbery with an imitation firearm and assault with a weapon.

Facing charges unrelated to the attack -- including possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking -- are Albert Doyle, 59, of Toronto, and Nikita Reid, 22, of Toronto.

Investigators are still searching for four more men or boys in relation to the investigation.
