A number of events will be closing roads across the city over the weekend.

On Sunday, the Toronto Triathlon Festival will be closing roads throughout the day.

From 2 a.m. to noon, the following roads will be closed:

• Eastbound Gardiner Expressway from the Humber River to Carlaw Avenue

• Northbound Don Valley Parkway from the Gardiner Expressway to Eglinton Avenue East

• British Columbia Drive from Lake Shore Boulevard to Springhurst Avenue

• Saskatchewan Road from British Columbia Drive to Princes' Boulevard

• Princes' Boulevard from Saskatchewan Road to Ontario Drive

• Ontario Drive from Princes' Boulevard to Lake Shore Boulevard

From 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. the eastbound side of Lake Shore Boulevard will be closed from Windemere Avenue to Remembrance Drive

During these closures access will be restricted for the open lanes of the Don Valley Parkway and Gardiner Expressway.

For the Don Valley Parkway, access to the northbound lanes will be available at Don Roadway, the Queen St. East ramp, the Bayview Avenue ramp, Don Mills Road and the Eglinton Avenue ramp.

For the Gardiner, eastbound lane access will be restricted at South Kingsway, British Columbia Drive and Lake Shore Boulevard East at Lower Jarvis Street.

In downtown Toronto, Front Street West is closed between John Street and Simcoe Street, and John Street is closed from Front Street West to Wellington Street West.
