A 25-year-old man is being treated in hospital after he was stabbed in the torso early Saturday morning.
The man, who is in serious condition, was stabbed at around 2:30 a.m. at an apartment building on Dawes Road, near Victoria Park Avenue.
Initial reports suggested that the man was involved in an altercation during a home invasion but police at 54 Division said they couldn’t confirm that detail.
An officer at the scene Saturday morning told CP24 that there appears to be two separate crime scenes. Investigators are trying to determine if they are both connected to the same incident.
Witnesses are not cooperating, police say.
