A suspect has been arrested in connection with an alleged sexual assault at Bay Station last August.

According to police, at around 5 p.m. on Aug. 31, a 25-year-old woman was standing on the westbound platform when she was approached by a man who allegedly sexually assaulted her.

Police said the woman managed to push the suspect away and board a train.

On Oct. 21, a man was arrested in connection with the case, investigators confirm.

Edward Russell Adams, a 55-year-old Toronto resident, has been charged with sexual assault and three counts of failing to comply with probation.
