Photos of a man who police say may have been involved in a stabbing Saturday night in Toronto’s Entertainment District have been publicly released.
Police released the photos Monday in hopes that witnesses would come forward and help investigators identify a suspect in the case.
The fight started inside a restaurant in the area of Adelaide and Simcoe streets.
A 24-year-old man was seated and got into an argument with another man at the restaurant.
The fight quickly escalated and the confrontation became physical as the man stabbed the 24-year-old patron several times before fleeing west on Adelaide Street.
Police say they are investigating the incident as a robbery.
