Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect after a 13-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in a North York park last Tuesday afternoon.

It happened in the Jane Street and Troutbrooke Drive area, west of Keele Street, at around 3:15 p.m.

According to police, the girl was by approached by a man on the park’s pathway, pushed to the ground, and sexually assaulted.

The man fled the area following the attack.

Police released a composite sketch of a suspect Wednesday afternoon.

He is described as black, 30 to 40 years old, five-foot-six, approximately 140 pounds, with an oval face, brown eyes, a flat nose and unshaven.

He was last seen wearing a blue toque, blue puffy jacket with a hood and black pants.
