Police have released a surveillance camera image of a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman on board a northbound subway train and then followed her when she disembarked at Lawrence Station.

According to police, the 32-year-old woman boarded the train at Dundas Station at around 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 17.

Once on board, police say an unknown man approached the woman and sexually assaulted her.

The woman then exited the train at Lawrence Station at which point police allege the man proceeded to follow her.

The man, however, left the subway station when the woman remained at the collector’s booth, police say.

The suspect is described as 20 to 26 years old, about 125 pounds with a thin build, dark eyes and full lips. He was last seen wearing a grey toque with a thick forehead brim and a green T-shirt with a repetitive circular pattern.
