Three men face a number of charges after a man was stabbed during a fight outside a Scarborough restaurant early Friday morning.
The stabbing occurred in a parking lot outside a restaurant near Sheppard Avenue East and Brimley Road at about 4:15 a.m.
The victim sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a trauma centre. His injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
Three suspects were arrested by police in the area.
The suspects, identified by police as Sanjith Stanisless, 23, of Toronto, 23-year-old Janaarthan Sritharan, of Stouffville, and Vykunthan Kanthavel, 27, of Toronto, are each charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, weapons dangerous and mischief under $5,000.
They appeared in court Friday.
