A 16-year-old boy was arrested after a vehicle struck a transformer box and went into a garage in Markham overnight.
The incident happened on Golden Avenue in the McCowan Road and Steeles Avenue area around 2:20 a.m.
Police say the boy was arrested at the scene for dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
No one else was in the vehicle and no injuries were reported in the incident.
Police say the boy will appear in court in several weeks.
