A 13-year-old girl is recovering in hospital after she was stabbed in the neck early Monday morning.

Toronto police officers arrested two men when they were called to the stabbing on St. Clair Avenue West, east of Dufferin Street, at about 1:15 a.m.

Police said the teen was taken to hospital, where she was in stable condition with a knife wound to the neck.

A 25-year-old man and a 36-year-old man face assault charges in connection with the incident.
