Halton Regional Police are investigating after a teen flipped his motorcycle and died in Milton on Monday afternoon.
The 17-year-old boy was riding a 2012 Hyosung bike northbound on Maple Avenue, north of Main Street East when he somehow lost control of the motorcycle, just after 3 p.m. Monday. Police said it flipped on its side, ejecting the boy.
Police said he suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators closed Maple Avenue in both directions for four and a half hours.
The rider’s name has not yet been released. Any witnesses to this incident are asked to call police at 905-825-4747, ext. 5065.
