Three youths and an 18-year-old man have been charged after police allege they posed as massage parlour customers in order to commit armed robberies.

According to police, five male suspects attended two apartments at a complex located in the Victoria Park and Finch avenues area on March 15.

The males, posing as customers, gained access to the units which were being operated as massage parlours.

Armed with a handgun and a knife, the suspects robbed four people of cash and personal property.

On Thursday, three youths and an 18-year-old man were arrested in connection with the investigation. A warrant was also issued for a 15-year-old male suspect.

Navid Azimi faces charges including four counts of armed robbery, four counts of forcible confinement, and possession of a weapon.

The youths – two 17 year olds and a 15 year old – face a number of robbery and weapons-related charges.

They cannot be identified under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

All four suspects were scheduled to appear in court Friday morning.

Police continue to search for an outstanding 15-year-old suspect.
