Three people were taken to hospital with minor injuries after a fire at a high-rise apartment building in Parkdale early this morning.
According to Toronto Fire Capt. David Eckerman, a mattress caught fire on the 8th floor of a building located on Tyndall Avenue, in the area of King and Dufferin streets.
Eckerman said the fire was extinguished shortly before 1:25 a.m.
Three people were taken to hospital for smoke inhalation.
The Office of the Fire Marshal has been notified.
