A 47-year-old man has been charged after he allegedly had unprotected sex with a 25-year-old woman and failed to disclose that he was HIV positive.
Police say that the man had sex with the woman between January 2011 and June 2012.
Andrew Tiriwangasi was arrested on Wednesday and charged with aggravated sexual assault and sexual assault.
Police say that they are concerned that the suspect may have failed to disclose his HIV status to other sexual partners as well.
Anyone who has had sex with Tiriwangasi is being urged to seek medical attention and contact police.
