Two Toronto men have been arrested and charged in connection with the street racing death of a man in Mississauga last weekend.

Mohammad Haniff, 29, was travelling at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his vehicle in the area of Kestrel Road and Meyerside Drive at around 6:20 p.m. on Saturday.

Haniff was then pronounced dead at the scene.

At the time of the incident, witnesses said that a brown Toyota Camry was also involved but sped away from the scene after the crash.

Igor Stambulsky, 23, was arrested Tuesday night and charged with criminal negligence causing death by street racing and failure to remain causing death by street racing.

Hazrat Haniff, the victim's 24-year-old brother, was also arrested and is charged with criminal negligence causing death by street racing, public mischief and obstruction. Haniff is the brother of the victim and a co-worker of Stambulsky.
