Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a crash that shut down Highway 401’s eastbound collectors for more than six hours Thursday morning.

No one was seriously injured when the tractor-trailer crashed into a “bullnose” that divides lanes near Morningside Avenue.

The crash scattered debris and diesel fuel all over the highway.

OPP shut down the lanes so crews could clean up the mess and haul away the tractor-trailer. The lanes reopened at about 10:30 a.m.
