TORONTO -- Two men are facing drug charges after police say officers on patrol in an east Toronto neighbourhood found a big batch of pot brownies.

Police say officers were patrolling Monday (near Victoria Park Avenue and Parma Court) when they found two men in possession of about 3.5 kilograms of individually wrapped brownies, infused with marijuana.

It's alleged the men were planning to sell the brownies to young people in the community and students of a nearby high school.

Waleed Mohamed and Moshan Afzal, both 18, have each been charged with possession of marijuana and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Police warn that marijuana and other narcotics can come in different forms and that consuming them can be extremely dangerous.
