Peel Regional Police say they’ve taken two Brampton men into custody after finding a number of illegal weapons during a raid on Tuesday.

Police tactical and canine officers executed a search warrant on a home on Primrose Crescent in Brampton, south of the intersection of Sandalwood Parkway East and Kennedy Road North.

They allegedly found a sawed-off 12 gauge shotgun with five shells, a sawed-off .22 calibre rifle with a magazine and three bullets, as well as two different types of pistol ammunition.

Lemar Wallace, 22, and Webster Jocelyn, 24, face various firearm-related offences.

Both were held for a special bail hearing at a Brampton court.
