HAMILTON - Police in Hamilton say two people are facing murder charges in the death of man found suffering from serious injuries following a street robbery earlier this month.

Investigators say 40-year-old William McConville was assaulted (in the area of Stinson Street at Victoria Avenue South) on the morning of May 12.

McConville was unconscious when officers arrived and was taken to hospital where he died on May 15.

Police say two suspects were identified with help from several members of the community and two Hamilton men were arrested on Wednesday.

Gordon Eugene O'Hara, 33, and 27-year-old Joshua Vernon O'Hara are charged with second-degree murder.
