Two people are dead after a three-alarm fire ripped through a home west of London just after 3 a.m. Saturday.

The fire happened in Mount Brydges, just 20 minutes west of London. A 41-year-old woman was found dead in her bedroom, while a 34-year-old man was pronounced dead after attempts to revive him failed.

Both people were found on the first-floor of the two unit home. Two people from the upper unit were taken to hospital and later released.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, but is not considered suspicious. Both the fire marshall and Strathroy-Caradoc Police are investigating.

No names have been released so far.
