Two people were taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation after a fire at a residence in Etobicoke early Friday morning.
The blaze began on Dunbloor Road near Summerland Terrace at around 2:15 a.m.
Police say that the fire was likely caused by a pot on a stove inside the kitchen.
The two people that were taken to hospital were only transported as a precaution and are expected to be OK.
