Two suspects are in custody after a man was shot in the face in the city’s east end.
It happened at Gower Street and Dawes Road in the area of St Clair and Victoria Park avenues at around 8:50 a.m.
According to police, the victim walked into a convenience store following the shooting and then left and went to a nearby coffee shop.
George Webster Elementary School, Dawes Centre of Early Learning, Gordon A. Brown Middle School and Selwyn Elementary School were placed in a hold and secure position but that has since been lifted.
Police continue to search for additional suspects.
