SUDBURY, Ont. - Three vehicles parked in the wrong place while their drivers watched a hockey game have been struck by a train in Sudbury.

Police say the vehicles were left in a Canadian Pacific rail lot Friday night across the street from an arena where the Sudbury Wolves played in an Ontario Hockey League game.

They say the three vehicles were unoccupied when a CP train smacked into them, significantly damaging two while a third was left in good enough shape to be driven away.

Police say the collision blocked traffic in nearby streets for 90 minutes.
