An ex-marine wanted for the murder of his wife in Ohio crossed into Canada at Windsor’s Ambassador Bridge Nov. 2, police confirmed Saturday.
Kyle Sheppard, 29, is wanted in the U.S. for the murder of his wife Katie Sheppard, who was found dead at their Toledo, OH. home on Friday.
Windsor police said Sheppard has ties in the Windsor area.
He’s described as white, five foot ten, weighing 185 pounds with short brown hair.
He crossed the border shortly before 10 p.m. Friday in a tan-coloured 2010 Jeep Patriot with the Ohio license plates EZB8816.
It’s not known if Sheppard is armed, but police said caution should be used if he or his vehicle are spotted.
