A 44-year-old woman is dead following a two-vehicle crash north of the city Thursday afternoon.
It happened on Highway 9, east of 12th Concession, just west of Schomberg, shortly after 3 p.m.
According to police, a Chevrolet Equinox was traveling east when, for unknown reasons, it crossed into the westbound lanes and struck a transport truck.
The female driver of the SUV identified by police as Dena Passero, of Tottenham, sustained fatal injuries in the crash.
