A woman has died after being struck by a vehicle in East York Thursday afternoon, Toronto police have confirmed.
The woman was struck in the Cedarvale and Cosburn avenues area shortly after 1:30 p.m. Callers reporting the incident said the pedestrian was struck by a truck, police said.
She was rushed to hospital without vital signs, where she was later pronounced dead.
The age of the woman was not immediately provided by police.
The intersection is currently closed as police continue to investigate.
