York Regional Police say a woman has suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Markham on Friday night.
The incident occurred near Alfred Paterson Drive and Bur Oak Avenue at around 8:20 p.m.
Police say the woman is in critical condition at Sunnybrook Hospital.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and no charges have been laid.
