A woman from Aurora, Ont. was found murdered in her rental home in Jamaica earlier this week.
Friends and family of the woman identified her in a Facebook tribute page as 53-year-old Shirley Lewis-McFarlane
Lewis-McFarlane was reportedly found dead by a neighbour on Monday.
The woman recently moved to Jamaica after visiting the country for years.
According to reports, police have not identified a suspect but they believe she may have known her killer.
