Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man who sexually assaulted a woman in the elevator of a Scarborough apartment building last week.

According to police, the woman was riding the elevator in a building in the Bellamy Road and Eglinton Avenue area at around 6:45 p.m. on April 29 when she was sexually assaulted by the man.

The man is described as about 20 to 23-years-old, five-foot-nine with a thin build and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a dark-blue, grey-and-white horizontally striped sweater, black pants, and black shoes.
