A worker killed in an elevator accident at a downtown hotel Tuesday night was an employee of Events at One King West, the Ministry of Labour confirmed to CP24 Wednesday.
The incident occurred shortly before 7:30 p.m. at One King West Hotel & Residence, located at the corner of King and Yonge streets.
Details of the accident have not been released but paramedics previously said that the 35-year-old victim may have been crushed by an elevator.
The name of the victim has not been released.
The Ministry of Labour is continuing to investigate.
