A young boy has been reunited with his mother after being found alone at an outdoor mall near the intersection of Don Mills Road and Lawrence Avenue East.
The boy – aged 14 to 17 months – was found alone around 11:30 a.m. at the shopping centre.
Police were not been able to locate the boy's family initially. They said the boy was seen at the shopping centre in a group of 4-5 adults and 2-3 children who left in a white van.
However the boy’s mother returned to the mall around 2:30 p.m. after realizing the child had not been brought home. She told police she believed the boy’s aunt would be bringing him home.
Police said no charges will be laid.
