Toronto police have released security camera images of two suspects sought in connection with a violent armed robbery last month.

According to police, two men entered a tuck shop on Sentinel Road at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14.

A female employee was then bound and pistol-whipped several times by one of the suspects after being forced into an office at gunpoint.

Customers in the store were then order to leave by the suspect as he pointed the handgun at them, police say.

An undisclosed quantity of cash and cigarettes were removed by the suspects who fled on foot after striking the bound victim once more.

The first suspect is described as 18 to 19 year old, five-foot-seven to five-foot-nine with a thin build.

He was last seen wearing all black clothing, including a hooded sweatshirt that covered his face.

The second suspect is described as black, with a dark complexion, 18 to 19 years old, six feet tall, with a thin build and short, curly black hair.

He was last seen wearing a white and dark-coloured jacket.
