Toronto police say that one person has been arrested after a truck struck a hydro pole in the Junction Wednesday afternoon.

Police say the male driver struck and knocked down the pole on Annette Street, just east of Runnymede Road.

He was placed under arrest by police at the scene. There is currently no word on any charges and no injuries were reported.

As of 10:40 p.m., roughly 150 customers in the area were still without power, a representative with Toronto Hydro said.

The estimated time of restoration is 1 a.m.
