A special mass will be held tonight for veteran Toronto firefighter Bob Leek who was found dead at the site of massive propane explosion on Sunday.

The mass remembering the 55-year-old district chief of emergency planning will be held at Saint Norbert's Church at Ancaster Road and Regent Road at 7 p.m.

Colleagues say Leek's passion for helping others was only rivaled by his knowledge and expertise.

Visitation will be held at the Demarco Funeral Home on Keele Street on Wednesday and Thursday.

His funeral, with full fire service honours, will be held on Friday morning at the Prayer Palace on Arrow Road.

An autopsy will be done to determine what caused the firefighter's death.

Leek leaves behind a wife and son.
