Police are sifting through TTC surveillance video Friday, hoping to catch a shooter who attacked a man at Main Street subway station.

The altercation began at about 11 p.m. Thursday night when a group of young men got into an argument on the bus platform. The fight soon turned physical and one of the men pulled out a gun, shooting the 24-year-old victim in the stomach.

The victim later checked in to East York General Hospital and is now recovering from his injuries.

The evening's second shooting occurred in a courtyard in Scarborough, near Brenyon Way in the Neilson and Sheppard Avenue.

Police don't know much about what happened in the moments before a 16-year-old boy was shot in the chest.

They are searching for suspects who could be as young as 15 years old who reportedly tried to steal bicycles from several young girls as they fled the scene.

The victim was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital just after 9 p.m. He is recovering from his injuries.

Police will be interviewing witnesses today.
