Oct. 10 - Election Night Date
cp24.com
Amber MacArthur will be hosting election coverage online.
I'm guessing that most of you have election fatigue after a long week of listening to news about our leaders traveling across the country on the campaign trail. But before you start thinking about turkey, sunshine, and stuffing, I want to write a quick note about Tuesday night.
CP24 will be covering the election live all evening, and our web team has put into place some great online plans to get you involved in the conversation. And when I say conversation, I mean it.
I'll be hosting a live chat from 8pm ET to 11pm ET with special panelist Saira Peesker of CP24.com. We did a chat test yesterday with an amazing new online tool, and for anyone who knows anything about me, there is nothing like a good Web app to get me excited!
The software we're using will let you chat with us instantly, without a long registration process. You can also take part in our political trivia that night, and see real-time results. Oh, and I can't forget to mention Election Bingo, Party Masks, and Party Drinks (please don't attempt to do all these things at once).
You'll be able to watch the election results live online. Saira will be in the newsroom that evening, and in true web fashion I'll be conferencing in on the air now and again via Skype.
Mark you calendars! We have a date Tuesday night on CP24.com!

It's a sad day in Canada for once again Canadians are going the way of the PC over Liberal turning our country into another American counterpart instead of having it's own identity as being truely unique as Canadians who are of all walks of life not just another American.
