Although we're just one month into fall, snow is blanketing pockets of the province and forecasts predict more is on the way.
Snow is falling in Barrie, Newmarket and Oak Ridges while flurries are also being seen in Oshawa and Toronto. A light blanket clings to roofs and trees in the northern regions.
People in Muskoka, the Kawarthas and eastern Ontario could expect five centimetres of snow by the end of Tuesday.
In places like Sudbury and North Bay, several centimeters of snow remains on the ground.
A few local power outages are also expected if wet snow builds up on tree branches and damages power lines. Power went out in North Bay this morning while officials dealt with a snowfall there.
There is treacherous driving conditions as snow squalls off Georgian Bay create white-out conditions near Collingwood. The snow is not completely sticking around though because the ground isn't cold enough.
The Canadian Automobile Association is already getting word out to drivers across the country that its time to get ready for anything out on the roads.
Last year on Oct. 13, 30 centimetres of snow fell in Niagara Region.

I really hope that comment on global warming was sarcasm. If it wasn't, I suggest you do some research.

The number of climate change skeptics are growing rapidly. Because a funny thing is happening to global temperatures -- they're going down, not up.
