A busy section of Bloor Street West has reopened Monday night after a car crashed into a hydro pole and fire hydrant -- sending water gushing twelve feet into the air.
Police say the messy accident was caused by a motorist who lost control of his car near Lansdowne Avenue. It is believed the driver suffered a seizure shortly after 7 p.m.
He was able to walk away with only minor injuries.
The accident sent water spewing into the night air, creating a small flood in the area.
Bloor Street West was closed between Lansdowne to Symington Avenues for almost three hours as crews cleaned up.
