Three people are in hospital after carbon monoxide filled a home near Davenport Road and Christie Street Saturday morning.

Police say a family of 11 woke up with headaches and suspected the potentially deadly gas had seeped through the house. They opened all the windows and everyone got out safely of the Hillcrest Drive home.

The fire department has now been called in. The homeowner says he does have a carbon monoxide detector, but it wasn't plugged in.
