A 19-year-old Brampton woman is facing impaired driving charges in connection with a serious accident that sent two people to hospital in Mississauga early Monday morning.
Police say a Honda Civic was going westbound on Derry Rd. when it came in contact with a westbound BMW near Mavis Rd.
A 17-year-old female passenger in the BMW sustained serious injuries and was taken to a Toronto hospital in serious but stable condition.
A 22-year-old female passenger in the Civic was taken to a local hospital for serious but non life-threatening injuries.
Victoria Litmola, the 19-year-old driver of the Civic, has been charged with two counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm and two counts of excess blood alcohol causing bodily harm, police say.
Litmola was scheduled to appear in a Bramtpon court for a bail hearing on Monday.
