A dark cloud crept over the Toronto Police Service this weekend, with one officer facing impaired driving charges and another charged with theft.

An off-duty officer was pulled over in the Lakeshore Boulevard and British Columbia Road area early Friday morning and allegedly "exhibited a strong odour of alcohol."

Const. Donald Graham, 61, has been charged with operating a vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood. He's a 35-year veteran of the force.

Meanwhile, another officer has been charged with theft following an incident at an Avenue Road LCBO on Sunday.

The alleged robber was seen selecting a bottle in the liquor store before he allegedly concealed the product in his jacket and left the store without paying.

Const. Douglas Schouten, 42, has been charged with theft. He is a 21-year veteran of 14 Division.
