Ken Reid

Ken Reid joined CP24 as a sports anchor and remote host in March 2009.

Ken is proud to be from Pictou, N.S. and started his professional broadcast career at Access Cable in Dartmouth, N.S. in 1997 as a Sports/News Reporter and hockey play by play announcer.

After two plus years in Nova Scotia, Ken made the move West to A Channel Calgary. He started as a news writer and worked his way up to late night sports anchor. 

In 2003, Ken moved to 'A' Ottawa and in 2005 to CFRN-TV in Edmonton (CTV) before breaking into the Toronto market in 2009 as a Sports Anchor and Remote Host for CP24.

While in Edmonton, Ken dabbled in radio, co-hosting Total Sports with Bob Stauffer on the TEAM 1260.

Outside of work, Ken is an avid golfer and has donated his time to the Edmonton Eskimos and Salvation Army Golf Tournaments in Edmonton.
