Police and family members are looking for a York University student and Canadian reserves soldier who vanished last Saturday.

Shane Fair, 19, was last seen at a year-end formal party at the Atlantis Pavilion banquet hall at Ontario Place around 12:30 a.m.

He did not get on the bus to return to his dorm room and hasn't been seen since.

"Shane, if you can hear this, call us, call the police, you don't have to come home, just call us, let us know you're ok," his stepmother Anita Andreana-Fair told CP24 while holding back tears.

His family and friends organized an unsuccessful search party at Ontario Place on Friday.

He is described as white, five-foot-eleven, 170 pounds and has brown hair styled in a short mohawk. He was last seen wearing a blue suit with a blue shirt and blue tie.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS.
