A 15-year-old girl has been rescued after allegedly being forced into prostitution in Toronto.

York Regional Police found the victim after following up on a tip that led them to a condo at an undisclosed location somewhere in the City of Toronto on Friday.

They found the victim together with a man who is now accused. She was immediately taken to a safe place.

Then on Saturday, police executed two search warrants at condo buildings at 1001 Bay Street and 1200 York Mills Road.

A number of ads online and in local newspapers which suggested sexual services in exchange for money led them to the buildings. They say these two buildings were being used as Common Bawdy Houses. Police seized $16,000 in cash.

Police say they believe the victim was held captive at either of these locations before being moved to the location where she was found.

York Regional Police have charged 40-year-old Renan Gazzali Esahak, of Richmond Hill who also goes by the names "Ray" or "Kelsey." He faces a string of charges including living on the avails of prostitution.

Detectives are pleading for anyone with information to contact them at 1-866-876-5423 ext. 7817.
