cp24.com

Traffic is block on the DVP as investigators attend the scene of a rollover on Thursday, June 4, 2009.

The southbound lanes of the Don Valley Parkway are once again open following a rollover on the highway on Thursday afternoon.

One of the northbound lanes in that area had also been closed, but police say all lanes have been cleared and are now open for use.

One man suffered serious head injuries in the crash. He was trapped in the rolled vehicle for about half an hour before emergency medical services officials were able to extricate him and take him to hospital, shortly before 3 p.m.

His injuries are considered serious but not life-threatening.

The collision involved a second vehicle as well, and two other people received minor injuries.
