Snowflakes fell on London, Ont. and the surrounding area on Thursday night, part of a front expected to move toward the GTA on Friday morning.

While snow wasn’t expected as far east as downtown Toronto, areas further west and south could see wet flurries ending sometime in the morning.

Hamilton, St. Catharines, Oakville, Mississauga and Burlington are among the areas which could see such precipitation.

Rain is being forecast for downtown Toronto and areas further east.
